UV data is not updating

Confirm that Hilumi has Location access while you use the app and that your device has an internet connection. You can review permission under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Hilumi.

Timer notifications

Hilumi uses local notifications. Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Hilumi and allow notifications. The timer remains available in the app even when notifications are disabled.

Lock Screen timer

Start a sunscreen timer, then lock your iPhone to view its Live Activity. If it does not appear, make sure Live Activities are allowed for Hilumi in iOS Settings.

Weather information

Hilumi uses Apple WeatherKit for local UV forecasts. Forecast availability and refresh timing can vary by location and network conditions.
