Overview
Hilumi provides local UV information and sunscreen-check reminders. The developer does not collect personal data from the app and does not operate an account, advertising, analytics, or remote push-notification server.
Location and UV forecasts
When you allow location access, Hilumi uses your location to request a local UV forecast from Apple WeatherKit. Hilumi’s developer does not receive, store, or retain your location.
If location access is unavailable, Hilumi can continue to operate with fallback UV information.
Information stored on your device
Your timer state, settings, selected sun-exposure level, and daily protection-check history remain on your device. Removing the app may remove this locally stored information.
Notifications and Live Activities
Hilumi uses local notifications and iOS Live Activities to show reminder and timer information. These features do not use a Hilumi-operated push server.
Apple services
UV forecast information is provided through Apple WeatherKit. Apple may process information under its own privacy policies and service terms. Hilumi does not sell or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Children’s privacy
Hilumi does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users. The app provides general information and is not a medical device.
Changes to this policy
If Hilumi’s data practices change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date before the change applies where required.
